Because I see it again and again, I passionately believe, talking to an experienced counsellor in a safe and trusting, non-judgmental relationship can bring greater understanding and change for the better. I work integratively, meaning that I draw upon different therapies that I have been trained in.  If you’d like to know more about my training, please see About Alex.

Getting in Touch

In my experience, the moment you've got in touch, we’re halfway towards finding the solution: we have some understanding of what the issue is and we’re doing something about it.

  • You can email, text, WhatsApp, call or contact me here and we'll organise an appointment at a time that suits you.

  • I do my best to answer all queries within 24 hours.

  • My fees and details of how I work can be found here, in the FAQ section.

To find out more about any of these therapies, simply click on the therapy you wish to explore.

The First Session

This is for each of us an assessment to see if and how we can work together.

  • If we can’t, I can make suggestions for help elsewhere.

  • If we can, whether it concerns relationships or depression, anxiety, illness or changes at work, meeting once a week for 50 minutes is the first step to finding your best way forward.

  • Sometimes people like to structure our meetings, working towards an end date; others like to leave sessions open-ended.  We tailor sessions to suit your needs.

As part of my continuing professional development (CPD) I am a member of a relationship therapy group, where like-minded and similarly trained therapists from across the UK come together on a regular basis for peer supervision, CPD and the sharing of resources.
